EXCHANGES / RETURNS
Each upcycled piece on Refash is unique, made with love and great attention to detail. The designer or artisan creatively utilises pre-loved materials to create a one of a kind product, just for you :)
In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase or have received a damaged product, we will do all we can to ensure that we can offer you a solution so that you have an unparalleled shopping experience.
- Since each product on Refash is either made to order or limited edition, we can only accept exchange / return requests if the customer receives a damaged product, unless otherwise stated on the product page under the “Exchange / Return Section” .
- In case the customer receives a damaged product, they must write to email@example.com within 48 hours of receipt of package with images / videos of the damage. Refash will exchange the product for a new piece, incase another piece is available. If a second piece is not available, the customer will get a full refund for their damaged product.
- In case a customer desires to exchange their product for a different size, an exchange can be processed if the alternate size is available or can be produced. Such a request will be taken up on a case to case basis since the inventory of each product is different. Please write to firstname.lastname@example.org for size exchange requests within 48 hours of receipt of product.
- In case of an exchange, the item must be returned with original tags intact and in original packaging. Garments worn and laundered will not be considered for returns / exchanges. The customer will have to bear the additional shipping charge in case of return / exchange. Please be aware that customs, taxes or import duties are the customer’s responsibility in the event of a return / exchange.
- Before making a purchase, please go through our “Product Description” section that details all the features of the product. Please be aware that each upcycled product is one of a kind and no two pieces will be alike - minor differences might be present. These differences is what makes each product unique.
- In case you'd like more information about a product before making a purchase, feel free to use the chat service available on our website to ask us any particular questions you might have or alternatively you can email us at email@example.com to know more.
- If you have any specific requests such as sizing or certain features that you would like to customise for your chosen purchase, we are more than happy to collaborate with you during the production process and cater to your needs to ensure your satisfaction with the piece. Feel free to email firstname.lastname@example.org either before or after your purchase with said specifications.
- Items sold under promotions, or at a discounted price cannot be exchanged or returned.
- All return or exchange requests will be processed at the discretion of REFASH however, we’ll do our best to ensure you are happy with your purchase.
- REFASH reserves the right to change these terms from time to time without notice.
- If a customer is not satisfied with the quality and/or the customization of the product they receive from the seller, the seller will refund the amount paid by the customer and may choose to have the product returned to them or not.
- If a customer receives a damaged/defective piece from the seller, the customer is entitled to receive a refund irrespective of the sellers policies regarding the matter
- If a seller receives an order for any product listed on Refash (in stock) and they do not have the piece in stock the seller will be liable to pay 20% of the selling price to Refash as a fine in case the order is cancelled. Alternatively, if the customer chooses any other product from the sellers catalogue (in lieu of the originally order product) Refash will charge a 40% commission on the transaction.
- Items ordered on the REFASH Shop are either made to order or limited edited pieces by the designer using post - industrial or post - consumer waste, exclusively for you. Since the products are made on receipt of an order, each product is unique and may have minor differentiation from the images you see on the website.
- Shipping is free for all orders to be delivered in India. We do ship overseas at an additional shipping cost.
- If your order contains products from different designers / brands, your purchase will reach you at different times and in different packages as each designer will ship the product directly to you. We do try to minimise packages in case the designers / brands are from the same city.
- We aim to deliver orders within the stipulated time period mentioned in the "Shipping" section in the description of each product, however during holidays or a high demand period this could get delayed. (If this is the case you will be notified by email and your patience would be much appreciated.)
- There might be shipping delays due to the restrictions across the country owing to Covid-19. In such an instance, the customer will be updated with the status of their order at regular intervals.
- Transactions are shown in your chosen currency. Prices of all items on www.refash.in are accurate at the time of publication.
- When you place an order you will receive a confirmation email with your order details and the amount charged to your payment method.
- REFASH will notify you via email or text message of the tracking number from your order, once it is dispatched by the designer.
- For all international deliveries, customs and duties will have to be paid on arrival by the customer if applicable.
