The Initiative

The Initiative provides sustainable livelihoods to low-income craftspeople through functional, well-designed, handcrafted products. Their key craft is that of hand-quilting. In staying true to the origins of this craft as well as keeping its inherent qualities alive, they use garment production waste as their raw material - meticulously hand quilting each little bit together to bring a whole new fabric to life.
