You’re Now Part of the Re:fashion Upcycling Festival

Yes, it’s finally happening!

The world’s biggest online upcycling festival begins on April 10th for five days, and you’re of course invited. Circular fashion is building momentum, and this time, it’s happening together as a community like never before.

This is the Re:fashion Upcycling Festival, powered by Fashion Revolution Week, with advisory by Shruti Singh, Director and Advisor at Fashion Revolution India.

So, you’ve heard of upcycling but never really tried it.

You’ve read about fast fashion - its exploitative systems, the destruction of resources, and inhumane working conditions.

You’ve seen tragedies like Rana Plaza collapse that made you angry. And has anything changed over a decade? Not much, really.

To know it all, come see for yourself. The upcycling experience shows you that repair is power, and you will never see your wardrobe or your choices the same way again.

So What’s Actually Happening Here

Over a few days, we’re bringing together people who walk the talk on sustainable fashion, and as a community, we will celebrate the upcycling and repair side of fashion with you.

Festival Schedule

April 10th - Day 1: Intersection of Climate, Fashion, and Politics

A powerful panel with sustainability-driven voices awaits you, and this is who you’ll hear from - Jia Singh, Aakash Ranison, and Shruti Singh. See conversations on how fashion has always been a climate issue, a political issue, and a power play, and everything in between. Get a behind the scenes view of an exploitative industry.

April 11th - Day 2: Repair Techniques Workshop

Powered by Fashion Revolution India, come get a liberating experience. Mending garments is an act of resistance against the consumer loop the extractive industry tells you to follow.

April 12th - Day 3: Repair Co-Working Session

As a community, come together to learn how to fix garments, and see how mending no longer feels like a chore.

April 13th - Day 4: Waste as a Resource Workshop

Upcycling gets close to you. You will start valuing overlooked waste, see its potential, and create something meaningful with your own hands.

April 14th - Day 5: 1-Hour Upcycling Challenge

You get one hour and everything you need is already around you. What you create is entirely up to you, and one thoughtful idea wins a ₹5,000 voucher.

April 14th - Day 5: Reflection Session and Sharing Circles

The festival comes to an end. You slow down and share what this experience felt like for you. We listen together and hear what sustainability means to you now, in your own way.

This is a full-circle experience of upcycling. It’s a chance to question what you’ve been used to, to see value where you didn’t before, and to feel a real connection to your clothes and the people and stories behind them.

And maybe, without even realising it, you start making different choices after.

You just have to join the waitlist through the link here and get your invite. We can’t wait to see you there!
