Eileen Fisher has been a pioneer in sustainable fashion for over 30 years. Their latest project in circularity is Waste No More - an experimental design studio led by creative director Sigi Ahl, that creates upcycled art installations and home accessories from Eileen Fisher garments that have been taken back from the customers after they reached the end of their first life cycle. Waste No More exhibited two art projects in New York and Milan in the month of April 2019.
Zero Waste Daniel was founded by New Yorker, Daniel Silverstein, as a brand that creates zero waste genderless basics out of the post industrial waste collected from New York's fashion houses. His love affair with discarded materials started early on in his childhood, leading him to create a one-of-a-kind brand that is paving the way for a circular economy.
Good Stuff New York is a month long pop up retail experience that exhibits brands and products that are "good", along with hosting workshops that teach repair, mending, upcycling and creative reuse skills. It aims to help consumers rethink their relationship with their "stuff" and encourage conversations around conscious consumption.
